It started was with my own struggles with fear, lack of self-compassion, and my life circumstances.
I thought I’d take a minute to say hello, and to start a by showing up with vulnerability. I’ve been a practicing mental health clinician for over 17 years, specializing in transformational processes. It’s always been my goal to get to know people and truly help them improve their lives.
After bearing witness to violence, being in car accidents, experiencing ongoing medical trauma, experiencing a workplace attack and the emotional turmoil that ensued and confronting earth-shattering loss and grief, it felt like more than anyone could handle. I lost myself. My heart connections, my passions, and my worth. I felt numb. I felt incapable. I felt like I had zero control over my own life, no matter how much goodwill and great intentions I had.
For what felt like years, I was forced to let the things outside of my control just happen while I watched, until I couldn’t afford to let fear keep driving my life. I don’t feel like I’m not in control anymore. I don’t feel like I’m not in control anymore. I feel more than alive, prepared, ready; growing, thriving, and wanting to be able to give back in every way that I can.
